| No one really knows what a Tunneler begins as, but only what it becomes, a massive, pulsating cluster of flesh and bone, the prey the creature absorbs. With each feeding, the absorbed corpses relocate themselves onto the ever-growing collection the Tunneler exhibits. The creature seems it can only survive partially or fully submerged underground. It’s only characteristics seem to be that of tunneling through the soil in search of more food, and growing with each meal.
While rare, it has been documented that these beasts become fond of certain people or animals and desire to have them become part of their own colossal collection of corpses. In these instances, the creature will go to great lengths and travel great distances to acquire a specific body. |
